Walkies With Wayne

FURR FRIENDLY

FURR  FAMILY FRIENDLY

When you have pets it is sometimes hard to leave them alone for a day out without them, at Walkies we have our own pets and this can sometimes prove a problem, especially as dog day care is not popular in the UK. We have found places that are family and pet friendly, so this page will share our personal views and places would we regular return to with our Furr Babies (and the kids) We travel in the UK with our Trailer Tent so these recommendations will be all over the UK, from campsites, cafes, beaches and shops that allow you to bring your pets with you.

Patriot Games is a converted warehouse where everyone is welcome, Wayne and the boys come to play Pokemon and Dungeons & Dragons. Its very friendly atmosphere and non-judgemental atmosphere makes it appealing on a social level.

I almost dont want to share this little hidden gem, its like finding seaglass on the beach.

Wayne and the boys come for games and found the cafe, they are evenly priced for location and the fact you can sit all day and play games without being charged for the wifi or the tables.

The cake.. now this is worth every penny at £3.50 a slice its home baked.. VEGAN GLUTEN AND OR DAIRY FREE this is not an easy task, but they nail it and the staff are very friendly.

Its a small cafe so you have to make sure  you get a seat, but we come 2-3 times a week for the gaming, home educational meets and just for the social atmosphere, it also doesnt break the bank if your on a budget AND we can bring a dog or both, so not limited for time.

Parking is on street and often not busy, but need to keep topping up the metre and your good.

We have now stayed on this site a few times, in a caravan and the bungalow. The hosts are so friendly and remembered us each time, nothing is too much trouble for them, around when needed but not in your face during our breaks.

The site is well kept and campsite always looks clean and tidy, we have yet to camp here due to no shower/toilets in our Trailer tent.

You can smell the sea and hear it at night, its that close, google maps does not lie to you.

For its location it is also very quiet.
